Our Staff
Joe Biggs - Head PGA Professional
Joe joined Berkhamsted as Head Professional 5 years ago, following 7 1/2 years as Head Asssistant at Roehampton Club. Joe has been a professional for over 10 years, starting his professional journey at Morley Hayes. Joe is passionate about all departments of the golf industry, in particular the retail and coaching side. Joe varies his coaching delivery to match the learning style of the individual. Joe is also a Level 2 trained Trackman certified coach, and uses the data to help golfers understand their swing and what they need to do to improve.
John Clarke - PGA Teaching Professional
John has been associated with Berkhamsted since 1987 when he first joined as a member. John represented the club in the Scratch team and County level, winning multiple competitions, before turning Professional. John undertook his PGA training under Basil Proudfoot, before succeeding him as Head Professional in 2003. John has coached multiple International golfers along with touring professionals. John is passionate about improving golfers from beginners to elite and is very skilled in adapting his own coaching methods to the individual.
Tom Cutting - PGA Teaching Professional
Tom has been at Berkhamsted ever since joining as a junior in 2003. Tom has represented the club as junior captain, played for the scratch team, as well as for the County. Tom turned professional and completed the PGA course under John Clarke. Tom has built up a large group of clients over his years at Berkhamsted, which includes multiple junior group lessons over weekends, along with running multiple junior camps throughout the school holidays. Tom has taken on the running of the Junior section alongside Joe & Peter Jennings and will play a pivotal role in the development of juniors at the club.
Sadie Aldous-Moore - Head Assistant
Sadie has been at Berkhamsted Golf Club for almost ten years. Having grown up around the game, she’s developed a lifelong passion for golf and a strong desire to make it more inclusive and accessible for everyone. Sadie has been actively involved in encouraging new players to take up the sport, including running the girls’ beginner course at Berkhamsted. In 2025, she began her PGA training, taking the next step toward sharing her love of the game and helping others develop their skills both on and off the course.
Jamie Woor - PGA Teaching Professional
With over 10 years experience as a PGA Professional, Jamie has coached golfers of all ages and abilites—from complete beginners, low-high handicaps to college/county players and professionals. TPI-certified and Trackman-qualified, Jamie adapts techniques to each player’s physical capabilities, focusing on efficient, body-friendly methods. Jamie teaches clients to understand their own individual swing, striving to boost confidence, enjoyment, and help reach each player's potential.
Callum Waters - Shop Assistant
Callum has been part of Berkhamsted Golf Club for over ten years, working across a variety of roles including food and beverage and a part of the greenkeeping team for 5 years. His broad experience and dedication make him a familiar and friendly face around the club. A keen golfer himself, Callum is always happy to lend a hand or share his enthusiasm for the game with members and visitors alike. Whether it’s helping out in the shop or out on the course, he takes pride in being part of the Berkhamsted team and creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
Thomas White - Shop Assistant
Thomas has been playing golf for three years and has grown a real passion for the game. He loves practising, trying out new equipment, and finding small ways to improve every time he’s on the course. As our Junior Captain, he brings a positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm to the team. Thomas hopes to build a future career in golf and is enjoying every step along the way.
